When "my" dog behaves badly (barks at strangers because they make too much noise) or askes for more freedom on his lech than he can handle, I don't give it to him. Not to prove my power over him, but because his not the leader of our packt. That's my job! He is an impulsive dog, with a lot of energy and with a heart of gold. But he can not be given any kind if responsibilit. He's a dog. The best dog ever, but still a dog.
Today he has been very protective, he has those days. He's a sensitive boy and if I'm thoughtful, upset or just stressed, he would like to protect me even more than before. But that doesn't mean I can let him do that. It's not good for him, for me or us.
I wish more leaders would take their responsibilities more serious. Not hid behind weakness, politics or just selfgood.
My castrated dog have more balls than some people I know!
